Dr. Javier Fuentes, DVM, MBA, PhD
Dr. Javier Fuentes is a Colombian veterinarian with over 30 years of professional experience. As a graduate of La Salle University, he also has an MBA and a PhD in Parasitology. For over two decades, he has practiced in Florida, where he is recognized as a leading specialist in veterinary dentistry.
His expertise spans oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, and advanced veterinary dental care. Dr. Fuentes combines technical excellence with a compassionate approach, offering skilled treatment to improve the health and quality of life of his patients.

My dog fractured her tooth requiring root canal and crown. Dr Fuentes and staff were able to get me an appointment the next day. He provided options for treatment - expressing that once X-rays were complete he would know if tooth could be saved or not. Thankfully it could. The techs were kind and Molly was treated with great care. I was called as soon as she came out of anesthesia and then again when I could pick her up.

Dr. Fuentes and his staff are simply outstanding. The care they provided to my fuzzie "Latte" was great. They stayed over an hour later than their posted business hours to make sure my girl was good to go. I got constant updates throughout the day on her progress, and had follow-up today to ensure she was ok. Although I am over a hour away, I will be back her for my others for any dental needs.

Dr Fuentes and the Team at Veterinary Dental Services are a compassionate, very talented, and knowledgeable team!
